Probus is a nationwide network of autonomous clubs for retired, or semi-retired, professional and businessmen

Clubs come in all shapes and sizes and can be found in towns and villages throughout Britain. Whether you’ve worked in the public services, industry and commerce or the professions, Probus offers a unique opportunity for companionship, with regular meetings and other activities, designed and organised by the members. The origins of Warwick Probus Club No.1 go back to 1969, when a group of local government officers began lunchtime meetings. When others joined, it became formally constituted as a Probus Club.

Now, more than half a century later, it is a thriving group with members from a very wide range of backgrounds, of varying ages and with a broad spectrum of interests. Quite simply, there is something for everyone.
